We really need more reinforcements during the january window to strengthen the team... Personally i feel that we need to get coverage for all departments... defence, midfield and striker. Only by continuing to play well and staying in the top-half of the table till Dec... it will be easier for Moyes to convince players to join us

I think Moyes will probably target the following players: Defence: Milan Dudic (Center-back) - Value 2m Midfield: Mark Van Bommel (Central Midfield) - Value 3m Midfield: Andy Van Der Meyde (Winger) - Value - 5m Attack: Benni McCarthy - Value 4m
Moyes has tracked Milan Dudic since early in the season and Red Star is having problems financially. So I think they will be tempted to sell in order to free up cash to buy players. The Club is doing badly in Europe this year.
Moyes has also eyed Mark Van Bommel since last season and if PSV is out of European contention by Jan, he would be a likely target, especially since Thomas Gravesen may not renew his contract at the end of the season.
A winger is what we have been lacking for the past few seasons and Andy is out of favour at Inter. If we are in a good league position, he may reconsider his decision to join us in the January period as he seeks to impress Van Basten for the Dutch squad.
Porto is not doing well in the Champions League and I would think that come January, they would be out of contention already and may seek to cash in on MacCarthy as they seek to rebuild the squad for next season.
All in all, dun think Moyes will spend anything above 15m as he will reserve some of that for summer moves. Also, he would not bring in more than 4 players so as not to disrupt harmony in the dressing room, as team spirit is so strong in our early season success.
I may not be correct on the above but this is what I feel what Moyes may have on his mind right now. =>

Based on latest reports, seems that Moyes might move for Scott Parker, if he is available at the right price. I would think that his work ethic on the field would fit in nicely with the club's playing style. Definitely someone I would have like to have in our squad.
